Chapter 13
Faction Disturbance in the School Part II
A major force of civilians against the electorate. First contact with Liberto, arguably its leader, ended in failure.
I’m walking away, dropping off my Libert, sighing.
I’d like to think there are as many opportunities for a rewind, but I can’t be optimistic given how many three-year discrepancies there are, given that similar situations are occurring to the events of the game.
As soon as possible, we just have to reconnect with the Libert.
The problem is, it’s his way of misunderstanding.
He has a strong distrust of nobility due to a certain past. Hence Alicia in the making was also wary at first and made to struggle a lot until Liberto dele.
Incidentally, it would be due to the fact that Alicia in reality earned the trust of Liberto lightly, which is younger than she was in the making. It seems innocent and immature, thus slipping through Libert’s vigilance.
It’s a way you can’t imitate me or a lady.
But even if you do something bad, it just makes you alert. It is difficult to meet with dignity, but nevertheless we need to persuade them from the front whenever possible.
For example, it would be best to have the lady write to you.
Observe the lady dancing with one crack in the perimeter, thinking that way.
The illuminated platinum blonde is brilliant. I have a grin on my face bordered by that hair, but that is the smile of a crop as a marquise.
…… pretty grumpy.
Maybe he’s even spoken to while dancing.
“Dear Sophia, you dance very well.”
“Huh? Oh… right”
Surprised by the unintentionally hung voice.
Speaking of which, I forgot Alicia was on my side.
I forgot because of the overlap of unexpected issues, but it’s also quite an anomaly to have Alicia here who’s supposed to be in school in three years.
“By the way, why is Master Alicia in school?
“Pfft, why do you think?
Bring your index finger along the edge of your mouth and let your little neck peel. The trick is just adorable like heroin, but I accidentally pulled my cheeks.
The current reaction alone gave me an anticipation of the answer.
“I thought I might see you again.”
Ahhhhhh, I knew it!
The line is supposed to go to the happy ending where the second prince and Alicia dance to the happy stills that appear to match the voice.
And yet, why are you telling me that to me!
I did save Alicia instead of the second prince. So you don’t have to give up a hundred steps to know that Alicia is not a second prince and has a crush on me.
But if the Prince and I just got replaced, it wouldn’t be a reason for Alicia to enroll three years early.
Not to mention, I don’t know what it means to be reunited and apply for a dance in three seconds. Heroin should only dance with the target when the route is confirmed.
And yet, what the hell is this situation?
“Hey, Mr. Cyril. I’ll give up today, but one day you’ll have to dance with me again.”
Just saying the heroine of the game, Alicia looks adorable.
I’m not glad Alicia said such a passionate line. But I’m a butler and she’s noble. Besides, I swore I’d make Miss Sophia happy.
Whatever happens, I will never leave my daughter alone.
“I’m sorry. Alicia, I can’t respond to your request.”
“That’s… why not?
Alicia won’t give up, even though she explicitly refused. Alicia in the making was also a bright and gutsy girl, but I feel even more mentally.
“I’m only a butler. Never in that brilliant light, in the same capacity as dancing with you. So I can’t respond to your request”
“But the school rules say it doesn’t matter who you are.”
“… and it could indeed be. But wherever you are, whenever you are, I am your daughter’s butler. I’m not going to throw that away.”
“Mm-hmm. Isn’t that good enough to dance a little”
“I’m sorry”
Poor sympathy here is counterproductive. Because I feel guilty, I never behave like it’s possible.
Alicia was swelling her cheeks but accidentally had a flirtatious grin.
“Okay. If that’s what you’re saying, I’m not asking you to dance anymore. Instead, teach me to dance next time”
“… Yes?
“I don’t like dancing. So tell me. The education of a badly made lady is also a fine role for a butler, isn’t it?
“… when I get a chance”
That is what I would call Alicia’s role as an educator, but I have difficulty responding when I am told that fulfilling a guest’s request is also within my job.
So I said, “If I had a chance,” and I said, “I’d say no.”
“Are you sure? It’s a promise, Mr. Cyril!
It didn’t work for Alicia without a back surface. I try to tell her it’s a no now, but Alicia is smiling like a maiden in love, accompanied by a palm on her chest.
“… to me, the butler, if that’s what you want”
If it’s as the butler’s role, let’s respond – and I replied sighingly.
Not so much then, Alicia was called off her seat by a classmate-like lady.
To replace it, Sophia, the lady who finished the dance, returned, but she looked tired after all.
“Good luck, lady”
“… thanks, Cyril. I’m really tired.”
The lady didn’t even take care of her expression and said she wanted to take her seat off. I followed that request and moved to the rest room I was renting out to my students.
Maid with lady offers a wet towel. The lady who received it wipes her sweat. He didn’t like dancing with the people around him as he wiped his hands in his head.
“By the way, what happened to Mr. Liberto’s response?
“I’m sorry”
I bow my head and reveal that when the lady is underestimating the civilians, Liberto has misunderstood me. The lady who heard it turned her eyes round.
“I left it to Cyril, and that’s how Mr. Liberto decided?
I’m sorry I couldn’t help you.
“No, Cyril doesn’t have to apologize. It was just unexpected that Mr. Liberto would make that decision. Cyril is for me.”
Having spoken to me, I seem to realize that others don’t necessarily think so either.
“I’m sorry, Cyril. My judgment was wrong.”
“No. The lady has responded well enough”
If you’re looking at it as an adult marquis, there’s something to reflect on. But considering I’m a twelve-year-old girl, I’m doing too well.
Plus, how many adult courtiers and how many can respond perfectly in that situation? With that in mind, the lady is already a fine lady enough.
But still…
“Thank you, Cyril. But don’t spoil me. Let me apologize. Because I made Cyril feel bad.”
“No, I’m not feeling bad or anything. Instead, I’m sorry.”
I don’t care about the degree of sarcasm. I bowed my head when I felt more sorry for letting the lady dance unwanted than that.
“… No, Cyril is nothing wrong. Besides, I’m the same. There’s nothing like dancing with someone you don’t like if it makes you feel bad.”
“Lady…”
Not that I’m not happy, but a butler or something like that is protected by a lady falls over. I looked in trouble, Sophia, but the lady keeps her words in a quiet tone.
“I told you. If it’s enough to keep you away, even the gods can turn to their enemies. All you have to do is crush both the electorate and the commoners who make you feel bad.”
“Oh, ma’am?
I peel my eyes off to my surprise, but Lady Sophia puts her finger on her lips and starts thinking about it.
“Right. That way, you won’t be bothered by the hassle of factional strife and so on, nor will anyone stand in my way and Cyril’s. That’s a good thing.”
“… Seriously, are you saying that?
“If I said I meant it… would you follow me?
Amethyst’s eyes stare jiggly. I swallowed gokuri and saliva.
Let the second prince lose his legs and drive Libert to ruin.
If the lady genuinely wields that power, it is never impossible.
So…
“If the lady so desires, I will offer you as far as I can.”
Lady Sophia concealed her mouth with her hands and opened her eyes to say she couldn’t believe it. But soon a grin spills out of the gap between his fingers that covered his mouth.
“… thanks, Cyril. Don’t worry, it’s a joke.”
“Yes, ma’am”
I laughed all the time at the answer I expected.
It’s not hard to get rid of a second prince or a Libert. It is also possible to twist down those who rebel against it and create an uncontested school for the lady to govern.
But that is the villain’s maid herself.
Your current daughter can’t have wanted that. I’m just foolish that I don’t have a place to bump into the grievances that I’ve accumulated from this between the electorate and the common people.
A little radical, but it would take a lot of stress.
“Well, I’m sorry I missed the point. Let’s discuss the future.”
“Yes, I did. It’s a prediction for the future… This one will not only be misleading for Master Liberto, it will also upset your daughter’s faction”
“Mr. Liberto understands, but my faction, is it?
“Yes, because the lady acted in a way that leaned against the electorate, even though she drew them into her company, reluctantly saying they were more factions than civilians”
I have not made it clear that I would lean on the civilian population or be hostile to the electorate, just to hint at it. That is why it is possible that they will be judged to have been conspired against by those who joined the faction.
“… you’re right. I seemed to think a lot sweetly. Ok. If that’s what you mean, I’ll talk to your friends.”
“Yeah, I was wondering if you’d like that.”
“As for the faction, the problem is Mr. Liberto’s response, but I’m not going to see him now, am I?
“Yeah. It’s too conspicuous for a lady to move”
Liberto already left the venue behind. Probably went back to the courtyard venue.
It is possible that even I, the servant, am being explored for trends. If the lady takes her feet to the courtyard, that alone could inspire the electorate.
“So, Cyril is in contact?
“Yes. I’ll take care of it……. but that’s just what will stand out to me today. Could you please give me your daughter’s letter so I can get in touch with her at a later date?
“Okay. We’ll have it ready as soon as we get back to our room.”
“Regards”
It’s troublesome, but it’s not a level I can’t handle. I’ll try to get over this pinch and get around the end of the execution of the lady and me.
“Well, it’s time to get down to business where we have a separate story.”
“… the real deal, is it?
I’ve just finished talking about the common folk measures. If you’re an electorate, you’ve danced before, and should be fine for a while… what else would have happened?
“Earlier, you were having a lot of fun talking to Alicia, weren’t you?
“Huh? No, the… I was just telling you that the lady dances well, right?
Before I avoid the execution end, I think I need to avoid the end where I’m the only one to be buried.
Whatever it was, the party itself ended safely.
I also had the trouble of my daughter falling into darkness, but when I told her honestly what I had talked to Alicia, she was very convinced.
I realized that sincerity was important.
Anyway, the next day was a simultaneous reflection launch in the morning, followed by the clean-up of the venue. The moment I showed my face in the classroom for that reason, yesterday I was greeted with good luck and grandeur.
I’ve gotten along a lot with the people who set up the venue with me this past month. They are all uniformly bright in expression. Probably because the venue had a good reputation yesterday.
In contrast, there are more and more courtyard groups, starting with Rymond.
“What happened yesterday?
When I asked Luke, who went out to help in the courtyard, he told me that he had received quite a bit of underestimation because he was compared to the main venue.
Besides, I’ve come to the courtyard – that is, I’ve bought the unhappiness of a nobleman near a commoner.
Sometimes the problem was solved by Luke, who went into help, and the courtyard group is rumored to be even a class A fall.
Clear your ears, how can I even… hear voices?
“- Damn, it’s your fault! If it’s true, I could have been a celebrity servant as an A-class elite, and it’s all ruined because of you!
One of my classmates accidentally cursed Lymond.
“Ugh… I’m sorry.”
Lymond, who was sinking more than anyone else, uttered words of apology while seeping remorse. But that results in motivating the others.
“I’m sorry! You can’t rely on us. That’s what we saw! That sounds like a great order, and the results are scattered. What are you gonna do?
“Yes, take responsibility!
Students who were setting up with Rymond blame Rymond one after another.
But Rymond doesn’t say it back. I guess I feel more responsible than anyone. Tears in my eyes, but I hold my fist tight and endure.
But their criticism does not subside.
Rymond, who became intolerable, jumped out of the classroom, but instead of dropping the tone, they began to hit the shadow of Rymond, who was gone.
“Get there. Are you kids!
I was the one who slapped the desk and stood up, not the others. Starting with Luke, my buddies who have been working with me for the past month are looking at me with a surprised face.
I guess it was because it was the first time I had roughed up my voice.
“You guys should have tuned in to Rymond and chosen to set up a courtyard. And yet, if I fail, it’s all Rymond’s fault? Do you really think so?
“Oh, that’s…”
“Rymond would have had a fall, too. But he doesn’t turn everything around on his own. Your rating should have come from all of you.”
If they are right that responsibility for success or failure rests with one person in charge, then the other people involved have no responsibility whatsoever, so does all the honors of success belong to one person in charge.
But there’s nothing stupid about that.
Our group succeeded because we all worked together.
– And where I rolled up so much, I realized I was getting a little hot.
I yelled at them first if they were kids, but they’re actually twelve year olds. It’s inappropriate as a reason to blame them, I’m the one who can’t grow up to roll like this.
I took a deep breath and calmed down my feelings.
“Let me tell you what I think, your setup was well done. There seems to have been a combination of bad luck and underestimation, but there must be someone who can show understanding.”
Teachers, for example.
If you are teachers looking at the annual establishment, the comparison will be a regular venue. If so, you should never think that setting up a courtyard was poor.
That’s what I said, but my classmate’s reaction is inconceivable.
“Are you… appreciating our hostile setup?
“I don’t remember being hostile.”
Dr. Tristan stirred up a conflict between them and me to encourage students to grow up. I rode that thought in order to protect my daughter’s honour and prove my strength and be recognized.
Never, not to kick them down.
“I’ll say it again. Your setup was adequate for Class A. Even if they said a lot now, it’s temporary. That assessment should be immediately overshadowed.”
“You really think you can do that?
“It’s possible. Sooner or later, the time will come to compete with other classes. Why don’t we come together and show them the difference in character?”
They must have learned a lot in this setup. If they and we move together like that, we’ll have the best job.
I hear those words. They know I’m not neglected. And we softened that look by understanding that we were not done yet.
I stab a cocon and nail in there.
“- But you can’t seem to blame others for your failures. It’s a preemptive issue.”
“Ugh. I’m sorry…”
“I’m not the one to apologize”
The person to apologize to is Rymond. Including telling him to make up when he got back, I left the classroom looking for him – and by the way, I ran into Dr. Tristan, who was outside the classroom.
“… sir? Could it be a wiretap?
“Don’t say bad things about people. I’ve been waiting for you to follow up on the guys that are snagging. You almost took my part.”
“I apologize for that. But it was the teacher who got me involved, wasn’t it?
“I know. So I would have given you the handle.”
He spits evil in his mouth, but I’m sure Dr. Tristan doesn’t want his handles. What he wants is student growth, I’m sure. So instead of going into arbitration myself, I watched my arbitration.
There are many problems with the way things are done, but they’re really sweet people.
“See, then you go to Rymond’s too.”
He had a gentle look on that stern face, pointing in the direction in which Rymond had left.
Dr. Tristan sent me out and I searched around for a while and found a corner of the courtyard – Lymond with a knee in a party venue that I hadn’t cleaned up yet.
“I finally found you.”
“… what are you doing? You’ve come to laugh at me?
“No, I’m here to pick you up.”
“Came to pick you up? What are you talking about? Funny, isn’t it? You stuck around, you lost like hell, and the others turned you around, didn’t they?
“But you didn’t run away from your responsibility”
I didn’t say it back when the people who were with me cursed me. At the end of the day, I escaped unacceptably, but I still didn’t say it wasn’t my fault.
“… you’re really the guy I told you about.”
“I heard the story, did you?
“A guy from the same group as you told me you weren’t a bad guy. Besides, I asked other guys why your dance grades were low.”
“Was it”
I guess you also heard that 51 points was an unlikely number. If so, you may also have noticed the true meaning of Dr. Tristan’s reference to point 51 and the fact that he dared to encourage conflict.
Thinking that way, Rymond bowed his head.
“Well, I’m sorry”
“What are you apologizing for?
“It’s all there. I’m sorry I stuck it on you. Besides, don’t even ask me what’s going on. I’m sorry I made a fool of myself about my dance grades. And you made a scene in the classroom about that… bad anyway!
Keep your head down deep and don’t try to keep it up.
“If you’ve reflected, you just need to take advantage of it next. You don’t have to apologize to me.”
I should reflect on his inadvertent move based on uncertain information, but I’m the one who didn’t excuse him for riding on the teacher’s thoughts, so one end of the blame for his rampage lies with me.
Of course, I sometimes thought it was a pain in the ass when I got tangled up in a test venue, but the conflict in my class is in a way the result I wanted. Nothing like being apologized for.
Besides, I don’t think Lymond’s a bad guy who can apologize like this. So with so much apology, I decided to flush everything down into the water, including what happened during the exam.
“Will you forgive me?
“Yeah, I forgive you. Instead, can you just tell me one thing?
“… what?
“As far as setting up the courtyard, you are competent enough. Even if you don’t have to, you’ll be a celebrity servant after graduation. And what are you in such a hurry about?
His strength would surely catch the attention of the aristocrats. If Rymond hadn’t bought the lady’s discomfort, I might have recommended it.
His disappointing attitude is clearly counterproductive.
I couldn’t wait till I graduated.
“… what does that mean?
“My father… died in an accident.”
It was a sad reality that he spoke abruptly. The outfit as a butler peels off and the vegan Lymond shows his face. In a tone appropriate to his year, he began to talk about the situation with Potspots.
He said his father was a butler who served a certain nobility. And Rymond and his younger brothers were also looking to serve nobles like my father.
But my father died suddenly in an accident.
I had some savings, but that’s not enough for my family to live in for years either. After family discussions about what to do, Rymond was to be admitted to the school.
I can only pay tuition for about a year. In the meantime, I find an employer and earn my living and my brothers’ tuition. I came here bearing the fate of my family on its little back that way.
“So… you felt that much”
I can’t believe when I was twelve in my previous life, I played without thinking. If I had been in the same situation as him in my previous life, I would have cried out for no reason.
“Hey…… Cyril. Do you think if I left voluntarily, I’d come back for just a fraction of my tuition?
“That would be… difficult”
At the time of the decision to enroll, the school has secured a frame for one person. I don’t think you’ll get your money back just because you left school.
“Oh well… well, you have no choice. Cyril, I’m sorry to bother you so much.”
That’s what Rymond says and gets up and walks out with his back to me.
“Are you going to give up, sir?
Ask that back, but Rymond won’t stop.
“- Really, is that good?
Asking again, Rymond finally stopped. That’s how he looked back and looked like he was about to cry exposed to the irrationality of the world.
“Because… you don’t have a choice, do you? I scratched my feet trying to figure it out, but I lost to you, and I was ignored by the guys I’ve been working with. What are we going to do now?
“Then what are you going to do about quitting school?
“… right. I’ll use what I’ve learned so far to get me to work somewhere. Then I might be able to manage enough to support my family.”
For the sake of my family, what can I do now?
“It’s probably a little early to give up, isn’t it?
“… what are you talking about?
Rymond looks back at Kurli. In those blue eyes seeped strong emotions that made suspicion and expectation seem like nothing.
“The setting up of the courtyard was by no means crude. If we were to compete with other classes, that would be obvious. Why don’t you wait for your next chance?
“I’m not giving you a chance to lose like no other.”
“No, chances come. I’ll give you a chance. Because that’s my role as a class rep.”
“Are you… are you telling me that you’re giving me a chance to be hostile?
“Dr. Tristan would have told you to make a mistake and learn right now, wouldn’t he? I know this may sound arrogant, but I think you’re already supposed to be frustrated.”
I know you never imagined I was a reincarnator, but you realize I’m heterogeneous. If so, I would have stepped on it that I was unlikely to lose.
In the first place, I need to show my daughter the ability she deserves as a dedicated butler. What it takes is not to kick someone else down, nor to overwhelm others.
It is a good use of the people around us as a position to oversee the servants. Trumpeting a competent human being to this extent is not worthy of being under the control of a servant.
“Rymond, join me”
“… to my people? Me and you?
“Yeah, that’s right. If you will be my companion, I will spare no effort to ensure that you are employed by some house in the past year. So…”
Give me your right hand. And when he saw it, Rymond opened his eyes wide and…
“Sorry, I’m so sorry”
I sneezed my face and started crying.
Even if I’m being mean and strong, I guess I’m really just a twelve-year-old. I laughed that I had no choice, and put the hand I was offering on Rymond’s head.
“Look, it’s not like a butler exposes his emotions like that in public, is it?
“-”
When I stroked Lymond’s head, he twisted himself to escape me. Then wipe the gossip and tears with a handkerchief and look like some rash looks bad.
Seems suddenly embarrassed that you cried in front of your classmate.
I pretend not to notice, and I urge you to go back to class.
Back in the classroom, Rymond started talking to some of his buddies who were prompted by me to make a mistake. They weren’t there at first, but eventually it comes to reconciliation.
It took a little while, but the class tied tight. All you have to do is settle down and deal with the problems of Liberto and the Second Prince.
That’s what I thought – the second prince came into our classroom.
