Chapter 299: Heaven Shattering Demon!
Chapter 299: Heaven Shattering Demon!
In the heart of the Demon Continent loomed the Forbidden Fate Volcano, shrouded in an endless darkness that cloaked the abyss. Deep within this abyss, the ground was littered with countless black beads, each over a foot in diameter.
These were Desolation Beads, once brimming with the power of desolation. The elements of wind, fire, thunder, and ice flowed within them, transforming into balls of fire, thunder, and more.
When unleashed, their destructive power was immense. But now, they lay dim and lifeless, their desolate power thoroughly drained.
At the center of the abyss, a terrifying orb of light swirled with millions of thunderbolts, raging fires, icy torrents, and towering storms. It was a concentration of rare desolate forces, a sight to chill the bravest of hearts.
Suddenly, the orb trembled and began to shrink. From it emerged a figure, naked and suspended in the void. This figure’s every inch of skin swirled with desolate storms, its silver hair flowing like a galaxy, and its body sculpted like white jade.
Its enchanting face seemed carved by the heavens, with slender, jade-like fingers, fuzzy fox ears, and four swaying fox tails. This sight could stir the hearts of men and women alike…
Both the Mortal Dust Blood Calamity and the Will of Divine Desolation were reshaping the War Princess and Moon Fairy, making them rivals in beauty to the Creator Immortal. The more desolate power Yun Xiao retrieved, the more boundless the growth of Moon Fairy.
In the darkness, a pair of silver-white eyes opened, flickering with a bewitching light. Unlike his original form, Moon Fairy now appeared younger and more innocent. Yet his small fangs, fox ears, and tail added a touch of cuteness mixed with a chilling ferocitysure to be the favorite of older women.
However, when it came to physical prowess, Moon Fairy was the true embodiment of pure violence. His delicate appearance was nothing but a front. Even the strongest Sword Souls could only leave a scratch on his finger.
“The Desolate Essence from the Eternal Sword Prison is really something else. There’s still eight other hells to go. If I absorbed all the Desolate Essence in the Nine Hells, I wonder if this body double of mine could shatter the heavens and earth with sheer physical strength?” Moon Fairy muttered, as he sped towards the volcano’s entrance.
WHOOSH!
Beneath the moonlight, he landed on a tall mountain. Before him lay a dim, desolate landscape of a hundred thousand ghostly peaks. Gazing at these mountains, he snapped his fingers.
From between the countless ravines, innumerable demons crawled out of the darkness, their eyes red and blazing, fervently gazing at this silver-haired, heaven-defying demon!
“All hail our Emperor!” All sorts of demonsspirits, birds, beasts, insects, snakes, and plantsprostrated before him, forming a black sea of kneeling figures under the chilly wind and ghostly moon.
“Emperor!” The Ape Saint and Burning Saint, with eyes burning red, fell to their knees before Moon Fairy.
“Congratulations, Demon Emperor, on achieving such divine might that pierces the heavens and the earth!” the Burning Saint exclaimed passionately.
The Ape Saint, taking a deep breath and looking up at Moon Fairy, declared fervently, “70 million demon soldiers, all fearless of death, are ready to counterattack the Divine Continent, seize the blessed land, and avenge our grievances!”
“Counterattack the Divine Continent…” Moon Fairy, looking down solemnly, pondered, “This debt… it cannot be let go, can it?”ALL new 𝒄hapters 𝒐n n𝒐v(𝒆)lbin(.)com
The Burning Saint paused for a moment, then chuckled. “Of course, how can we forget the enmity of the fall of the five great Demon Emperors and the countless brethren we lost? The Demon Continent has suffered, while the Divine Continent thrives anew. Standing at the crossroads of history, we can’t miss this god given opportunity to fight for the future of our descendants, rather than just scraping by!”
“Your Majesty’s might alone can annihilate all the human race’s strongest, leaving them headless. Without their leaders and just the Nine Heavens Immortal Army remaining, they’ll easily crumble,” the Ape Saint said, gazing fervently at Moon Fairy. “Right now, the Immortal Empires of the Divine Continent are uniting. Once they truly band together, we’ll lose our chance… Their current complacency is our perfect opportunity to invade the Divine Continent and enslave humanity. The demon race has been plotting for ages, just waiting for a Demon Emperor like you to lead us to complete this great undertaking!”
“Yes, if we don’t act now, those frail humans will start running amok over us. We should domesticate them, enslave them for eternity!” the Burning Saint added, recalling the prosperity of the Divine Continent with covetous eyes.
“Well said!” Moon Fairy’s response ignited the blood of the 70 million-strong demon army, stirring the blood in their hearts that had been quiet for days.
“We’ve always said, our real war with the Divine Continent’s human race hasn’t truly begun yet!”
“Those ridiculous humans, declaring their complete victory?”
“Those dreamers, it’s time for them to wake up…” The demons recalled the battle outside the gates of the Heavenly Realm, the frustration and rage never forgotten.
“Shall we march immediately, Demon Emperor?” the Burning Saint asked, unable to wait any longer.
“No rush,” Moon Fairy replied, his gaze lofty. “To attack the Divine Continent, we must first remove the
fishermen
. There are many devils and foreigners infiltrating the Demon Continent. Let me eliminate them first to prevent external enemies from exploiting us. Once these foreign devils die, the humans of the Divine Continent will be like fish in a barrel, nothing to fear.”
“Foreign invaders?”
The commotion at the two portals to other worlds had indeed caught the attention of various demons, causing many casualties and arousing widespread anger.
“The Divine and Demon Continents are our turf! With me here, whoever comes shall perish! Therefore, we must eradicate all these greedy and disrespectful villains with thunderous force to completely intimidate them,” Moon Fairy declared coldly.
“We still don’t know the full strength of these people,” the Ape Saint said with a frown.
“Even if they can reach the heavens, they cannot shake our will to protect our homeland,” Moon Fairy affirmed. With that, he stomped fiercely on the ground.
RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE!
The hundred thousand mountains before him shook violently. Boulders trembled, trees fell, and the ground cracked as if the end of the world had arrived.
“So powerful!!”
Witnessing this, the millions of demons looked at Moon Fairy with eyes full of frenzied devotion.
“With me here in this land, whoever comes shall perish!” When Moon Fairy proclaimed this, the demons roared madly, forming a dark, fervent tide at his feet. “So!” His voice drowned out the roars of all the demons. “Starting now, lock down the positions of all foreign races!”
“Yes!” the demons cried out.
In the Demon Continent, Moon Fairy had millions of eyes! Wasn’t it easy to root out the locations of all foreign races with the help of various demons, insects, snakes, and birds?
The Burning Saint and Ape Saint, hearing his command, immediately went to make arrangements.
“The decisive battle for the demon race’s destiny is about to begin!”
“The Divine and Demon Continents belong to us, the demon race, for generations!”
Amidst the rolling cold wind, as Moon Fairy was rallying for the great war, a white figure stood atop a distant mountain, facing the fierce wind, hair flying wildly. It was Yun Xiao.
Beneath his feet lay a cloth bag, a magic treasure. The bag writhed gently, revealing that the person inside was at death’s door, in extreme misery.
Not long after, a striking figure in dazzling red floated through the wind, landing gracefully behind him. As she raised her head to look at Yun Xiao’s silhouette, her dark red eyes trembled slightly. “This guy is both handsome and terrifying,” she thought to herself.
In the breeze, Yun Xiao turned around, gazing down at this alluring figure.
“Why can’t you dress more modestly?” Yun Xiao frowned, his eyes sweeping over her figurethe contours of her legs, waist, and soul-stirring curves faintly visible.
“Whats it to you?” the War Princess retorted with a huff. No sooner had she spoken than her legs gave out, and she found herself kneeling before Yun Xiao, her knees shattering the stones beneath. This scene underscored Yun Xiao’s control over her.
“Just wear something more appropriate, and do as you’re told,” Yun Xiao said coolly.
“I know!” the War Princess replied, tears brimming in her eyes, her voice low. “I dressed like this just to see you… Normally, I’m very proper, you know!”
“Really?” Yun Xiao asked.
“You just love to bully girls, don’t you!” the War Princess snapped back, clearly irritated.
Yun Xiao chuckled and, uninterested in further arguing, kicked a round cloth bag at her feet toward the War Princess.
“What’s this?” she asked, standing up.
“A gift for you,” Yun Xiao replied.
“I dont believe it. You’re not that thoughtful,” she said, though a part of her was slightly flattered, thinking to herself, “Has this blockhead finally caught on?”
With a mix of excitement and curiosity, she opened the cloth bag. To her shock, a person appeared before her, devoid of eyes, ears, mouth, and nose, with their Dantian destroyeda grotesque and pitiful sight.
“AHHHH!” The sight sent her tumbling to the ground, her face ashen with fright. “YOU! JERK!” She was a mix of embarrassed and furious, panting heavily as she pointed at Yun Xiao, her emotions as turbulent as the ocean.
“Like it?” Yun Xiao, having successfully played his prank, burst into hearty laughter.
“Like it, my foot! You little brat!” the War Princess raged.
“My foot? Your foot? Which foot are you referring to?” Yun Xiao asked innocently.
Every time the War Princess’s heart raced, not just her face but her entire skin would blush like ripe peaches.
“Pervert, you creep!”
“You’re getting too bold, little blood slave,” Yun Xiao said sternly.
“Hmph” The War Princess quickly moved a few steps away from him.
“You’re quite the contradiction, trying to allure me and yet scared of me,” Yun Xiao suddenly said, piercing right through the War Princess’s thoughts.
Of course, she wouldn’t admit it, instead retorting with a straight face, “Who’s trying to allure you? I have the freedom to wear what I want…”
Yun Xiao gave her a once-over. “I’m short on time, we’ll play more some other time.”
“Play more…” Her anxiety grew with his words.
Fortunately, Yun Xiao turned to the matter at hand. Pointing to the cloth bag, he asked the War Princess, “Do you recognize who this is?”
“He’s been tortured beyond recognition, doesn’t even look human,” the War Princess said, slightly shaken.
This young man in white, seemingly a celestial being, had ruthlessly cruel methods. It was precisely this that made her both respect and fear him.
“Do you recognize this sword?” Yun Xiao’s hand flickered, and a two-foot-long wooden sword appeared.
“The Calamity Seal Sword…” The War Princess trembled, her eyes wide with disbelief as she looked at the cloth bag. “Fu Longxiang?!”
