Chapter 300: Plan Set In Motion
Chapter 300: Plan Set in Motion
The War Princess knew that the Inscription Cultivator, Fu Longxiang, had left the team! She even informed Yun Xiao about this, urging him to be wary of the man. But what she never anticipated was that under the protection of that Old Chu, Yun Xiao would not only capture Fu Longxiang but also tame the Calamity Seal Sword.
“How did you manage it?” The War Princess stared at him, her beautiful eyes wide with disbelief.
“It’s as easy as killing a chicken,” Yun Xiao said casually.
“Freak…”
The War Princess was at a loss for words to describe him.
Fu Longxiang was the number one genius of the Nine Hells, a figure she, the War Princess, could only envy and look up to in the past.
“Why didn’t you just kill him? What devilish plot are you concocting now?” the War Princess asked suspiciously.
“Come here,” Yun Xiao said.
“Huh?” As soon as the War Princess approached him, she tensed up. Her body glowed with a more radiant hue, warmed by the blood of the Mortal Dust Devil, giving off a scorching sensation.
“You smell nice,” Yun Xiao whispered suddenly in her ear.
“Is, is that so? When we devils… get nervous, we do emit a fragrance…” the War Princess stammered.
“A natural beauty,” Yun Xiao remarked softly.
“Th-thank you for the compliment.” The War Princess was on the verge of tears, hugging her arms around herself, feeling ants crawling all over her body, unable to face him.
And at that moment, Yun Xiao just sniffed her for a while, then whispered a few words in her ear, “Just do as I say.”
“You’re so cruel…” the War Princess gasped after listening to him.
“Cruel?” Yun Xiao pinched her cheek and said coldly, “Little slave, I’m giving your Endless Netherworld a way out for your sake, which is quite generous of me.”
“I have a name, I’m…”
“It’s not important.” Yun Xiao interrupted her.
“…Yes.” The War Princess hung her head in dejection.
“Good, go do your task,” Yun Xiao said, patting her head.
Though she was tall, Yun Xiao’s higher stance made this action a bit of a stretch!
“…Yes.” She lowered her head, took a few steps back, picked up the cloth bag, and turned to leave. After a few steps, she stopped, turned back with a ghostly gaze, and asked with a trembling voice, “If… if I am willing to serve you, will my status be elevated in your presence?”
“No,” Yun Xiao replied flatly.
“Fine then.” The War Princess bit her lip, tears of frustration and humiliation falling.
“Besides, what I do doesn’t depend on whether you’re willing or not,” Yun Xiao stated coldly.
“Ah?” Her tears fell even harder.
“Don’t overstep your bounds. Be thankful you’re still alive. You think I’m going to spoil you and put you on a pedestal?” Yun Xiao said.
“Understood.” The War Princess took a deep breath. “Anyway, I’m just your slave. In front of others, it’s still quite exhilarating…”
“Good, now get to work!” Yun Xiao glared at her.
“Scoundrel!” The War Princess muttered under her breath, biting her lip as she departed. Dragging Fu Longxiang with her, she returned to the temporary hideout of the Inscription Cultivators and devils!
“Poor guy. Dantian destroyed, limbs severed, unable to hear, speak, or see. Aware of the treachery yet forced to be a mere pawn in this play.”
Recalling Fu Longxiang’s earlier fervent gazes, she chuckled, “So arrogant at first, yet utterly powerless before him, eh?” This thought, despite being manipulated, oppressed, and humiliated by Yun Xiao, strangely filled her with a masochistic pleasure.
“Alas, I must be bewitched. I almost wish he would execute me on the spot…” she murmured to herself.
“Are you hinting something to me?” a voice suddenly echoed in her heart.ALL new 𝒄hapters 𝒐n n𝒐v(𝒆)lbin(.)com
“Ah! No, you heard wrong!” The War Princess panicked, realizing she had forgotten about the Mortal Dust Devil Seed within her and voiced her thoughts. Now she was truly embarrassed.
“Behave well, and you’ll earn my favor,” the voice in her heart said before falling silent.
“Yes…” The War Princess nodded, covering her face in embarrassment.
After this little episode, she seemed more resolute in her decision. As she neared the crowd, she wrapped herself in a large robe, concealing her devilish figure. Simultaneously, her demeanor transformed into one of immense pride, indifference, and unapproachable superiority.
She promptly plucked Fu Longxiang from the bag and headed towards a deep ravine.
“Uncle! Something’s happened.” Stepping into the ravine, the War Princess set Fu Longxiang down, then shouted, “Everyone, come out! Inscription Cultivators, you too.”
Fu Longxiang, unable to hear, see, or speak, was utterly clueless about his whereabouts, his face twisted in terror, desperately struggling in the depths of despair.
A fate worse than this was hard to imagine!
“What happened?” Out of the darkness, the Lion Duke emerged with several devils, followed by startled Inscription Cultivators.
“Who’s this?”
The Lion Duke glanced at Fu Longxiang, not recognizing him at first.
The next moment, a heart-wrenching scream erupted from behind them.
“Talisman Prince!” A blue-robed elder burst through the crowd, instantly reaching Fu Longxiang’s side. His eyes wide and bloodshot, he gasped in horror, his hands trembling as they reached towards Fu Longxiang.
“Fu Longxiang?” The Lion Duke was visibly shaken, disbelief etched on his face.
The other devils exhibited similar reactions. Meanwhile, the Inscription Cultivators, having received the news, jostled to the front.
“Ah!”
His Dantian was destroyed, limbs severed, eyes, ears, mouth, and nose all gone! He was completely mutilated, beyond any hope!
“AHHH!!” The Inscription Cultivators’ faces split with horror, collapsing to their knees, their insides as if forcibly torn apart, overwhelmed by fear and fury.
The most tragic part was the blue-robed elder clutching Fu Longxiang, but Fu Longxiang had no idea who it was. His terror intensified, his body shaking more violently, blood pouring from his eye sockets.
“Talisman Prince…” The elder looked at his pitiful state, his heart tearing apart with grief. His eyes trembling, he suddenly looked up, staring fiercely at the War Princess, and roared, “War Princess, you did this!”
The War Princess was taken aback and retorted, “Are you out of your mind? With my Mid Dao Heart Realm cultivation, how could I beat someone in the Fate Ocean Realm to this state?”
“Gongyang Sheng, calm down first, listen to what she has to say.” The Lion Duke stepped between them, both to soothe Gongyang Sheng’s emotions and to prevent the Inscription Cultivators from attacking the War Princess rashly.
“Speak! Speak!” Gongyang Sheng pleaded in utter despair. His despair was overshadowed by fear. Tasked with protecting Fu Longxiang, now that the Talisman Prince was reduced to this state, his own survival was in jeopardy.
The War Princess, annoyed, explained, “The ones who did this were two women. One of them was named Ku Qinglian? He even called her aunt. They killed the old man together. They intended to spare the boy, but he spoke disrespectfully to Exile Ling, angering him and meeting this fate.”
“Ku Qinglian, Exile Ling?” Gongyang Sheng was stunned. “Ku Qinglian is related by blood to the Talisman Prince. How could she do something so ruthless? That’s impossible…”
“Ha!” The War Princess scoffed coldly, “Believe it or not! If you don’t, you might as well accuse me and my Endless Netherworld. If I knew you were this foolish, I wouldn’t have bothered dragging him out. Might as well have fed him to the dogs.”
After speaking, she stuck out her tongue at the Lion Duke, “Scared me to death just now. Luckily, I hid quickly and didn’t move, or I would’ve been gone too. Next time, I definitely won’t wander out alone.”
“This place is too dangerous. I told you to go back to the palace, but you still wandered off?” The Lion Duke was sweating bullets. Thankfully, the mishap didn’t involve her. Otherwise, he would be even more despondent than Gongyang Sheng.
“But speaking of which, weren’t we supposed to move together? How did Fu Longxiang go off on his own?” The Lion Duke turned to Gongyang Sheng.
“I…” Gongyang Sheng was on the verge of tears. Fu Longxiang’s decision was his own, and beyond Gongyang Sheng’s control.
In fact, he couldn’t suspect the devils, as he had just been playing chess with the Lion Duke, with the Fate Ocean Realm devils by his side.
So, the only possibilities were Yun Xiao and Ling Chen.
The Lion Duke said, “Gongyang Sheng, the only way you can save yourselves now is by bringing back the heads of the two Exiled Sword Immortals as atonement.”
“I know” The group of Inscription Cultivators exchanged glances, filled with grief and burning rage.
“War Princess, are you sure it was Exile Ling who acted?” Gongyang Sheng asked through clenched teeth.
“Heh, believe it or not,” the War Princess rolled her eyes, “Oh, and your Calamity Seal Sword was also taken. When you get the chance, see who has it, and everything will be clear.”
“The Calamity Seal Sword!”
The Inscription Cultivators looked at each other, their hearts sinking further.
“We must take it back!” Gongyang Sheng said grimly.
“What a tragedy” The Inscription Cultivators sighed deeply.
“These Sword Cultivators are completely obsessed for the sake of those two Exiled Sword Immortals. It’s bad enough they’re enemies with our Endless Netherworld, but now they dare to kill the heir of the Calamity Seal Purgatory. They’ve disowned their kin to dominate the Nine Hells,” the Lion Duke sneered.
“This enmity is irreconcilable… The entire Sword Ruins must pay a heavy price!” Gongyang Sheng said viciously.
“In that case, these two Exiled Sword Immortals truly deserve death” The Lion Duke turned to his subordinates, “Haven’t we located them yet?”
“The sky and land here are vast. Finding a group of people takes time,” Feng You explained.
“If we find them, let’s join forces and act,” the Lion Duke said to Gongyang Sheng, comforting him.
Just then, an Inscription Cultivator hurried back, excitedly announcing, “I’ve found the location of a group of Sword Cultivators!”
“Whose?” Gongyang Sheng asked coldly.
“It should be Exile Ling’s group. They were hiding deep, but a demon tide forced them to reveal themselves!” The Inscription Cultivator was unaware of Fu Longxiang’s fate and spoke excitedly, “Even though Exile Ling is surrounded by the Ku Family, who are related to the Lady, that won’t stop us from eliminating Exile Ling, right?”
“Not at all” Gongyang Sheng’s face twisted with ferocity, looking at the Lion Duke.
“A demon tide?” The War Princess snorted internally. Yun Xiao’s plans were so interconnected, each step so coincidentally timed.
After learning of Ling Chen’s location, the Lion Duke’s eyes turned cold. “All units, heed my command. Help our Inscription Cultivator brothers avenge their wrongs!”
“Kill!” Nearly a hundred Fate Ocean Realm troops, brimming with murderous intent, set out!
