Chapter 12
Fang Qi followed the two out of the building in a daze. When he saw the small green flower bed, he finally reacted. “We’re not going to class?”
Shen Dongqing didn’t even turn his head. “If you want to go, go back.”
Fang Qi shuddered and hurriedly followed the two gods.
Shen Dongqing walked as he flipped through the Ghost Stories on Campus. He had found three of the five ghost stories, so there were only two left.
His eyes stopped at the ‘crying in the cafeteria’. He touched his flat stomach. “I’m a bit hungry.”
He also finished the snacks that he had bought with his points.
A hand suddenly appeared in front of Shen Dongqing.
Shen Dongqing blinked and saw Zhou Wenyan open his hand. There was a jelly lying inside.
He turned his head to look.
Zhou Wenyan raised his chin reservedly. “Here you go.”
Shen Dongqing smiled embarrassedly. He took the jelly and ate it in one bite.
He licked the corner of his lips, and his gaze involuntarily fell on Zhou Wenyan’s back.
I really want to take a bite.
It must be delicious …
Shen Dongqing’s tongue touched the roof of his mouth and he narrowed his eyes.
Zhou Wenyan stopped. “We’re here.”
Shen Dongqing controlled himself and moved his eyes away from Zhou Wenyan. He saw the word ‘cafeteria’ in front of him.
I’m even hungrier. What should I do?
Zhou Wenyan pushed open the glass door.
It wasn’t meal time.
The cafeteria was quiet. There wasn’t even a staff member. Only the sound of the electric fan above could be heard.
Shen Dongqing held the door handle and walked in.
The floor of the cafeteria was made of white porcelain. It was so clean and smooth that he could see his reflection.
He took two steps forward and could faintly smell a fragrance coming from the kitchen.
Shen Dongqing took a deep breath.
The fragrance was so strong that it made his mouth water. However, after smelling it for a long time, he could faintly detect the smell of blood.
Shen Dongqing walked toward the source of the fragrance.
The kitchen was blocked by a heavy door.
Creak —
The door slowly opened.
Behind the door was the kitchen, and there was no one inside. There was a big pot of something on the stove, slowly simmering. The aroma was coming from it.
Shen Dongqing wanted to see what was inside, so he walked over.
However, Fang Qi was faster than him. As if he had been bewitched, he pounced toward the stove with lifeless eyes, as if he was going to plunge directly into the boiling soup.
Shen Dongqing’s eyes were sharp and her hands were fast. She kicked Fang Qi to the ground.
Thankfully, he knew that Fang Qi’s skin was not as thick as a ghost’s, so he purposely held back. Even so, Fang Qi’s eyes rolled back, and he fainted on the ground.
“We have a guest.”
A fat man in a chef’s uniform jumped out of nowhere.
He had a standard chef’s body. He had a big belly, and his body was oily. There was a kind smile on his chubby face. But if you saw the bloody boning knife in his hand, you wouldn’t think so.
