Chapter 43
When Otaku 2 heard this, an unnatural emotion flashed across his face. “He’s a monster. He only knows how to harm people. He doesn’t know anything else.”
Shen Dongqing said, “You said that he will harm people. Who did he harm?”
Wasn’t Otaku 1 just a weak otaku?
He could carry him with one hand, not to mention that he was lying in front of the computer with a blank face. He only knew how to type on the keyboard and had no intention of attacking.
This question stumped Otaku 2. After being at a loss for a moment, he said decisively, “He’s just not normal. Who knows when he’ll harm people!”
As soon as he said that, a faint voice sounded in the room.
“Aren’t you the one who killed people?”
Shen Dongqing looked down. Otaku 1, who was lying on the ground, opened his eyes and stared straight at Otaku 2.
Otaku 2 shuddered from being stared at and retorted with a sharp voice, “What nonsense are you talking about?
How could I possibly kill people! ”
This time when he woke up, Otaku 1 didn’t rush to sit in front of the computer. Instead, he walked to Otaku 2. The two people who looked exactly the same stood face to face.
A smile appeared on Otaku 1’s pale face. “You know very well whether you killed people or not.”
Otaku 2 was forced to take a step back and stuttered, “You, you … If someone were to be killed, it would be you who killed them!”
“That’s right, I killed them.”
Otaku 1 agreed without hesitation. The expression on his face became even more strange. “But, am I not you?”
Otaku 2 was frightened. He jumped up, pushed Otaku 1 away, and ran out of the door.
Otaku 1 didn’t stop him. Instead, he stood there and looked on expressionlessly.
However, as soon as Otaku 2 opened the door, he retreated back into the room, trembling all over, as if he had seen a horrifying scene.
Shen Dongqing poked his head out to take a look.
“So you’re here.”
Blueberry pushed the door open and greeted them. Then, she turned to the person behind her and said, “Auntie, is this your home?”
A middle-aged woman followed behind Blueberry. She was wearing an apron and her hair was combed meticulously. Because she had been working hard, she looked older than her real age.
“Thank you,” the middle-aged woman said very sincerely. “If it weren’t for your kindness, I wouldn’t have been able to find my way home.”
Blueberry said, “It’s fine. It’ll be fine when we get home.”
She walked into the room and gathered with her two teammates. She began to complain, “You guys disappeared while walking up the stairs. Fortunately, I met this auntie. Otherwise, I would have been scared to death.”
Blueberry smiled embarrassedly. “At first, I thought Auntie was a ghost, so I was scared out of my wits.”
Shen Dongqing interjected, “Actually, she is a ghost.”
Blueberry: “Huh?”
She turned her head abruptly and saw the auntie walking in slowly. Her footsteps were exceptionally heavy, as if every step was knocking on Otaku 2’s heart. Otaku 2 was so scared that his face turned pale and his whole body trembled.
The auntie stopped and said gently, “Don’t you want to see your mother?”
Otaku 2 screamed in horror, “No!
Get out, get out! ”
Like a frightened rabbit, he jumped behind the curtains and covered himself tightly.
On the other hand, Otaku 1 calmly called out, “Mother.”
The auntie touched Otaku 1’s head. “Good boy, how have you been recently?”
Otaku 1 said, “My book is about to be published.”
The auntie had tears in her eyes. “That’s great. Mother is so happy for you.”
Otaku 1 pulled the auntie towards the computer. “Mother, many people like my novel. Take a look.”
Auntie: “Okay, okay.”
The auntie walked over step by step. As she got closer and closer to the computer, her appearance changed again and again.
Her hair was disheveled, and her cheeks were splattered with specks of blood. Her shoulder had been slashed by a kitchen knife, and it hung limply by her side. Halfway through, her leg was bent, and she was half-kneeling on the ground.
When she reached the computer table, the originally neatly dressed middle-aged woman had turned into a pile of meat paste.
